Electrolyzer Cell: The electrolyzer cell is the heart of the electrochlorination system. It contains electrodes (typically made of titanium coated with precious metals like ruthenium or iridium oxide) immersed in seawater. The electrodes are connected to a direct current (DC) power supply.Electrolysis: When DC power is applied to the electrodes, electrolysis occurs.
